At the meeting held on October 17, 2025, in Larnaca, the Council of the European Centre for Workers’ Questions (EZA) decided to admit the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro (USSCG) as a full member of this distinguished European organization.
This decision marks a significant step toward strengthening international cooperation and affirms USSCG’s ongoing efforts to advance workers’ rights, social dialogue, and democratic values in Montenegro. Through its membership in EZA, USSCG gains the opportunity to actively participate in shaping European policies in the fields of labor, social protection, and sustainable development, as well as to exchange experiences with trade union organizations across Europe.
We expect that EZA membership will further enhance our capacities, enable new forms of education and networking, and contribute to better protection of workers’ rights in Montenegro.
