Inclusiveness in decision-making processes, transparency, and open social dialogue are the foundation for successful work in this area and for achieving European standards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the first panel dedicated to the state of social dialogue in the European Union, the speakers included: <em>Oliver R\u00f6pke<\/em>, President of the European Economic and Social Committee; <em>Andrej Zorko<\/em>, Chair of the Western Balkans Group within the European Economic and Social Committee; <em>Predrag Zenovi\u0107<\/em>, Montenegro\u2019s Chief Negotiator with the European Union; <em>Slobodan Mikavica<\/em>, President of the Montenegrin Employers\u2019 Federation; and <em>Sr\u0111a Kekovi\u0107<\/em>, Secretary General of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro. The panelists agreed that this conference represents an important step toward further strengthening social dialogue in Montenegro and emphasized its significance as a key mechanism for achieving societal consensus on ongoing reforms in the context of EU accession.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the second panel, dedicated to the topic &#8216;Social Dialogue: Barrier or Opportunity,&#8217; the panelists were: <em>Naida Ni\u0161i\u0107,<\/em> Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Dialogue; <em>Milutin Butorovi\u0107<\/em>, Minister without Portfolio; <em>Slavi\u0161a \u0160\u0107eki\u0107<\/em>, President of the Assembly of the Montenegrin Employers\u2019 Federation; and<em> \u017deljko Buri\u0107<\/em>, Deputy Secretary General of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro. They noted that Montenegro can be proud of positive examples of social dialogue, but emphasized that there is room for improvement at all levels.
