Today, Secretary General Sr\u0111a Kekovi\u0107 had a meeting with the acting Director of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs Ilir Harasani, with whom he discussed about deepening cooperation and providing mutual support in the fight for the rights of employees. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The UFTUM Secretary General had the opportunity to outline the problems that workers most often face with. As one of the problems, he emphasized the work of economic entities, which, contrary to the law, perform activities during the holidays. T<\/span><\/span>he Law specifies that public holidays are non-working days, except when it comes to companies that have such a nature of activity or technology of work that it requires continuous work, however, there are also those who are unscrupulous and who must be sanctioned. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n It was assessed at the meeting that imprecise laws open the door to various abuses of workers’ rights.
